Massive 2013 GT500 Allocation Cuts?!?

I posted this in the more generic mustang section, but it makes more sense to post it here...

My dealer just forwarded me an email from their zone sales rep stating that the two additional allocations the dealership had for 2013 are being taken away. The zone sales rep wrote about Ford focusing more on the producing some of their other vehicles, so the GT500 production will be closing (soon) until Jan. PLUS, the zone sales rep went on to say that when the production started up again in Jan that the cars would be the 2014 model year!?!

Has anyone else heard of this? My order has been "Locked--?" for a month, and several members here verified that means the dealership did indeed have an allocation (since it said Locked--?).

Anyone have any information to add?

Seems pretty much like the normal cycle.
For MY 2011 they stopped taking orders in Dec. 2010, but continued building Shelbys till the end of Feb.

Normal cycle to not produce already allocated vehicles?

Over in an SVT forum one of the guys wrote that 7 Jan production is going to start the 2014 model year.
