I think this was a better deal unless you have to have brand new, it is a loaded 2011 with only 2.5K miles for $43K

That seems like a wicked good deal to me! I don't know if you can find a 2010 for that price. What caught my attention is the second to last pic in that ebay listing shows two keys and two remotes...what the heck are those? I didn't get remotes with mine (just two keys) did my dealer forget or does this one just have an added alarm or something??

Those remotes look factory to me.

I was at a Ford dealership yesterday getting my F-150 serviced. I walked over to the new car side and they had a 2011 GT500 on the showroom floor. I looked at the sticker and they had a $5000 market adjustment putting it over $60K. Very optimistic if you ask me, I can't even see them getting MSRP in current economic climate and 2012 right around the corner.
They are getting 3 Boss Mustangs and want $3K - $5k markup on those also.

Depends on the dealer, it seems like some just want to keep their gt500's in the show room. There is a dealer less than a mile from my house and I kept bugging them about getting one...they told me they would sell the one they were getting in less than msrp...when it came in I went up there and they said the price was msrp. I said no way! The car was black and they acted like it was a special color. Anyways they were pretty rude and didn't want to talk to me. They also said they were having a mustang show the next day in one of their parking lots. So I had seen another GT500 30mins from my house that had been posted by the dealer on ebay a few times. I went up there and got theirs (Grabber blue...I really just wanted the car so I was cool with any color, but do prefer bright colors) a couple grand under msrp and they threw in a set of stock gt wheels and tires as I requested. So I was happy with that...then I went the next day back to the other dealer for their mustang show. Kinda like a "see I told you I wanted it". It was funny, and I love the car I got.

I agree, I was thinking about a 2012 Boss or GT Premium but if I can pick up a 2011 GT500 for almost the same price, I will probably go that way - heck of a lot of car for low $40's.

The car is worth it! Definetly! Save some money for tires though...
Really though, as a street machine I think any of the years would be a blast... I like them all!
Get used to looking out the side windows as you drive the car down the street sideways

It's really nice. I can drive it everyday and even in the snow. It's pretty quick for being such a big car. It gets a lot of looks and positive comments from people. Ford gave me crap for driving my GT500 like anything but a Taurus, so I went out and got one.

That is a steal! If I had extra I'd pick it up! What is better than one gt500...TWO GT500's! haha. Geez, can you think of the tire bills. I guess they are only worth something if there is someone willing to pay...like anything.

Very Nice. I test drove one when they first came out. If I had to own a sedan, the SHO is the top of my list. Just wish they'dgo to F1 style paddles instead of the up and down on both sides...
