Just took a 2010 Shelby GT500 for a test drive
Which Supersnake package did you go for? I was speaking with Sean Hyland this past weekend about them upgrades....dam pricey. But if I was in a position to do so, I surely would.
While the price might seem high, to me it made great sense.
I had been looking at a 2011 GT500 and the price difference between my trade and the 2011 was going to be 32k. While the 2011 is a nice car it really wasn't a 32k upgrade over my car, add to that I think my model year looks much better. So I just could not see doing that deal.
I had also considered a 2012 Boss, but as I found out more info on the car I knew it was going to suit my needs.
I then realized that turning the car into a Super Snake was the perfect answer. The cost was a bit more than upgrading to a 2011 but it gives me a very unique car- IN the body style that most appeals to me.
I did the 725HP upgrade.

Very much like some pics when you get it back. I assume Sean Hyland has it?
I've owned both model years and I prefer the 2010 overall. Guess that explains why I traded my 2005 GT for my 2010 GT
Again, that's just your opinion on the attractiveness of the rear-end of the car. I have owned both, and I do not make comments about those that have the '05 - '09 body style or their cars.... so why do so many of you seem to think you have that right? But, I suppose I can lower my standards of conduct and turn into the same type of A-hole if that is what is required.......
