In 89 I would've killed anyone who said my fox was ugly and when the SN-95 came out I hated it HATED IT. Two years later it grew on me and I purchased a 96 and loved it more than my 89. The new edge never appealed to me, so that got skipped. I purchased the 2005 mostly because I wanted a new car and even though I didn't care for a few things on it, I would eventually give it to my son. IMO the 2010+ is absolutely perfect and I wouldn't change a thing.
I appreciate the car, it's just not better looking than the 05-09's.
I was looking at getting a 2012 Boss or a 2011 GT500, but I just couldn't give up my 08 GT500. The car is just so much better looking than those other two.

Yeah, but we've moved on. You had your test drive and unless you're gonna buy it there ain't much more to say.

Agreed

At first the 2010+ GT500 looked like Ford had raided a dodge truck parts bin for the nose, but the look has grown on me. Now IMO the 2010 GT500 had the best looking wheels with its 5 spoke 19s and the 2010+ interior goes without saying.

My one gripe for the 2011+ car are the narrow stripes (which thankfully you can delete).

Well, the narrow stripes only come with the SVT PP - but by all accounts, this is pretty much a mandatory performance option. If I was in a position to buy a new GT500 SVT PP, I'd check off stripe delete quicker than a virgin on prom night.

Also, speaking as the unbiased owner of an '05, the '10+ are far better looking than the '05-09 cars...including the rear end and taillights. The diaper on the '10 is awful but they made it better on the '11.

yyyyyyyyeah no.

I'm not even a fan of the new interior of the '10+ (though I'm well aware I'm in the minority on that). I really like the interior of the 05-09. There's really only one thing I like about the 10+ models over the 05-09s and that's the technology.

Esthetically though, I'm still a fan of the 05-09s... ESPECIALLY when it's SuperSnake'd. I think the 08-09 KR/SuperSnake is the best looking mustang ever.

I also like the interior of the 05-09's better. There might be a bit more hard plastic in them but they look better. They've got a muscle car looking interior.
The 05-09's will go down in history as probably the best mustangs ever AND they are the cars responsible for the revival of the mustang AND they restarted the muscle car wars.

The air vents look better, the gauges/speedo look better and on the GT500 the air bag cover is much nicer looking.
Don't hate on perfection!

If the 2008 scored a perfect 10, the 2011 would score 100 in comparison. Haha man you love your car so much it's blinded you. LOL

But I didn't like the 05-09 before there was a 10-12, so I think that clears me, right? LOL

I know you didn't mean to quote me but I have a guess all the same: Thanks to Ford's boosted sales to the Mustang because of the S197 body style, Chevy and Dodge realized that the Muscle Car market was still very viable, thus their decision for bringing Camaro and Challenger back.
