Insurance..... Who do you use?
I currently have Geico insurance and my rate is $1331 every 6 months on the Shelby. I have started looking around and received quotes from a few other companies.
Who do you use and who would you recommend staying away from?

I use Hocheim Prairie. Probably only a regional company but I have a real agent and from everyone I know that uses them they are quick to pay and don't **** you on the values.

I was with State Farm for a lot of years and they were good. But switched to Safeco with an old agent because he could combine with my small ranch/homeowners policy and I got a good discount. State Farm won't cover my land due to horses.

But aren't there usage restrictions?

If you have any veterans in the family or are a vet yourself check out USAA, not sure on price comparison but customer service and other services offered are outstanding.

State Farm, $600/year for my 2011 GT. Also, any major provider will bundle your home/auto/life, etc., so you can expect savings there.

After hearing a couple of consumer stories on here I'd stay away from Progressive for sure. Can't say what they were or who they were but it was some wrong kind of stuff.

It was enough for me to go check out GIECO and now I pay around 96 bucks a month for the GT500.

If you want collectors try Grundy Worldwide and Chumm, less restrictive, better rates .

Yes.
Hagerty won't cover the car if you drive it to and from work which blows. That's about 50% of my driving. It's ok for a car like the R that sits but not for a car you want to drive.

I pay $500 every 6 months for a v6. Full coverage, high payouts. I have a speeding ticket going 90 in a 60 just this year. Progressive

I use Farm Bureau Insurance in Tennessee. I pay $1000 for a 12 month policy for my 2011 Shelby GT500 Convertible. That's full coverage with a $500 deductible. Of course my driving history isn't the best in the world but not the worse either.

I have American collectors insurance on my 13 gt500 allowed 5000 mile a year on any kind of driving and the car has to be garaged but I feel the best thing about them is that I have the car insured for what I paid 60000 and it is only 860 a year. Try them have my 88 coupe with them as we'll they are great.
