Yea I was told no till after winter or until after the move since it's not driveable in a Midwest winter. But didn't get a no... just a not now so soon. No dreams crushed just put for awhile

 

Good to hear how things turned out for your quest for a GT500. Is the car still on the lot or has it been sold ? What town was that white GT500 located in ?

 

Over the winter, make sure you do things that will make it easier to buy/own the car. Then make sure she knows you're doing those things. If she knows you're trying to accommodate her, she'll feel more appreciative and more supportive of you purchasing the car.

Sorry, this story reminded me back in 1973 I had a 1972 Vega gt wagon and a guy wanted to trade me straight across for his 1970 SS LS6 454 Chevelle. It was blue with the white stripes. My wife was pregnant and didn't even want to look at the car when he brought it over. I was just thinking of what that car would be worth today. Oh well maybe it's for the best.

I gave the wife 6 kids. I decided I should have 6 cars. She can deal with it how she wants.
