Hmmmmm....food for thought

Maybe not this one, and not now, but I'd be willing to crunch some numbers if the right one came along in the future. It'd have to be lo-miles, unmolested, w/o navigation, and most certainly not black, preferably white w/blue stripes. But this RR ain't too shabby looking.

It's like you're just sending me an invite to spend money for you...

And to that I say, why not a Glass Roof coupe to compliment your GT vert? They're more rare than verts and you'd have something a little different...

Laserred's #2 for sure. Clean, glass roof, 5.8 and about the same price as Tripleblack's original choice.

Edit: I think I missed the point. Tom probably likes convertibles more than anything else for a non-daily car.

I would love me a 2013/2014 Shelby GT500. I keep seeing them for sale on svtperformance. So nice.

Me too. But I'm just not a drag strip kind of guy and I can't imagine anything faster than my GT on the street. So it's probably a Boss or GT350 for my eventual upgrade...

I'm perfectly capable of spending my own money thank you very much. But I do appreciate you looking out for me Patrick!!!!

Tony gets it X 10!!!

A GT500 'vert was just a random thought that could possibly become more serious not too far down the road. I'd have to give up my '14 GT 'vert which would be extremely hard to do. My only gripe is how black looks during pollen season no matter how hard I try to keep it purty. I bought the car new and I love it to death. Plus it has sentimental value since I got it in the middle of a divorce....and it was a very good trade.

But if I gave it up just because it's black, it'd have to be a significant step upwards. A new GT350 is the only car I'd give up a 'vert for, but my wallet isn't fat enough, so a previously loved GT500 rag top could work. The S550 'verts are nice enough, but I'm still enamored with the S197.

I'm normally a fairly impulsive person, but this decision will take a long time.

See you should've said so in your first post...I was assuming you'd be keeping your current GT lol. I get it now. I think you should do it.

I can see you pimpin' a drop top GT500 in New Jersey! lol
Maybe when you're ready to buy, the GT350 car will be in your price range and then you can have both, a new car with warranty and a killer car. (Not that the 2013/2014 Shelby GT500 isn't. It's a beautiful car.)
