HID headlight jiggle
HID headlight jiggle
I have a 2012 SVTPP and when I hit a patch of washboard or rough road at night, the headlight jiggles. It's not something I can hear, but see, it's like the bulb or headlamp is loose, the light doesn't go out, you can just visually see that it is jiggling or vibrating the light output on the road.
Anyone else experiencing this, I know the suspension is stiff, but I never got this on my 370z and don't notice it on my WRX. Could the bulb just be loose in the housing, or is it just inherent to the design of the Ford factory HID's??

I've only driven mine at night once, on the way home when I bought it. But it was about a 100 miles and I never noticed that. I'd take it to the dealer and get it looked at and on record that you have a problem with it.
Yep, same here.
I noticed as the headlights lite the road ahead "jiggle" when I hit a bump. Not the fog lights because it happens whether the fogs are on or off.

Interesting, looks like a few people are having this issue, must be inherent in the design. Maybe the light has some sort of floating design in the housing.
Anyone try replacing the bulbs with a 5000k or 6000k lamp?
Wonder if it can be adjusted or tightened.
