Thumbs up GT500 Patriot edition

Any more information behind this beauty? I spotted it in the Gallery under the SEMA photos.

New hood, hood pins, rear side and window scoops.....anything else?

Just looks like a Super Snake to me with different quarter window covers and added side scoops.

Found this on Popular Hot Rodding:

Through the cooperation of many generous sponsors, the 2010 Mustang Dream Giveaway is your chance to win two spectacular cars (a restored 1967 Shelby GT500 valued at $150,000, and a 2010 Shelby Patriot Edition Shelby Mustang valued in excess of $50,000). Your purchase of raffle tickets will help our wounded troops who risk their lives to protect our freedom. None of our efforts to help these deserving veterans would be possible without this generous support.

I like the GT500 (I'm talking about the 2010, not just this one in particular) from three sides. (Hmmm, that sounds familiar). Except the side I don't like is the front.

And I agree, the hood on this one isn't helping.

Patriot Shelby

I saw these Shelbys in the Ford booth at sema. The Patriot was spectacular in person. I cant tell you how much difference the wimbledon white made over the performance white. Personally i love the super snake hood. I noticed between 20-30 other differences between it and the production car. Even the engine bay was satin black and the engine block the old Ford blue to match the 67. There was lots of detail including a roll-bar and brushed alum door panels like the old gt500 on the inside. Dont bother entering because i got my tickets and i'm going to win both the cars.

I absolutely love how they did the engine bay. My dream is to get a newer Mustang some day and do the engine up to look like the 60's...

I wonder how many tickets were sold! Didn't mind buying tickets since they sure go to a worthy cause. As for me winning - the only drawing/lottery I ever won was the "draft lottery".
