i've been lucky to not have to replace my clutches in the 87 (186k miles) and 2003 (139k miles) and i beat the hell out of them

what is the going rate for a full stock replacement plus labor?

Yeah, I've been through a lot worse in life then a burnt clutch. It will get resolved eventually to my satisfaction. I could stress myself out over it but it's not worth it.

I hear you, patience and calm is a must since the worst part aside the uncertainty is the wait.

Well I haven't spent a dime yet. However, if Ford continues to deny any coverage it's going to cost me at least that. 2007-09 owners who are receiving these clutches as TSB replacements need to be concerned.

No clutch problems in my 2010 but it never saw a gas station it didn't want to meet personally.

If my 2010 represents an improvement in mpg, I would hate to see what the 07-09's got. Not too bad on the open road in 6th with cruise control on, I get 24 mpg. The "issue" is what I get in town. Geez. But that is okay I didn't buy a Yaris for a reason.
