Thanks to remind me that this baby will be sleeping about 5 months a year hidden under a cover!
Of course I will catch up the other 7 months... maybe a trip to SoCal...

They did, once upond a time, but they are no longer built in sequence these days.
What day did you order? I want to add it to the tracking thread i started... You're the first Shelby VIN i've heard of on TMS.

You may want to check how the dealer ordered the vehicle ( retail with your name or stock order). I changed mine in the system today after I received communication from Ford stating that they're not scheduling retail orders for March production.

Anyway, there is no way I will drive it in March or early April in here. Early May would be nice.
Also, if they find bugs on the initial batch, they will fix them for retail cars.

I changed my Race Red with White stripes to Black with Red stripes today.......its being scheduled tonight for March production. Probably still wont see it until May, although I wish it was here in time for the Knotts Fabulous Fords Forever show....Id have to leave my '93 Cobra at home this year.

This doesn't neccessarily mean the Stock orders will ship first?... From another post I read that talked about previous years... they'll build them and then bury them in alot... and First in (the lot) was more like last out (to the dealer). I don't know if that's the plan behind this? Weather still sucks anyway... I wouldn't want mine built now to sit outside in a lot.... in the cold.... in rain and snow... the first 4 weeks after getting fresh paint.....
