Question Do track pak GT500 Mustangs have different shift ***** ?

I see pictures of white shift ***** with racing stripes . My 2014 GT 500 has a white shift **** without racing stripes. Does the track pak option dictate a different shift **** ?

My 2013 GT500 is a track pack car and does not have stripes on the white shifter ball.

Edit: and the car does have stripes

White with black stripes to be exact which you would think would come with a white shifter with black stripes. Oh well.

I believe that in the SVT pack description it reads that the shifter ball is different. However, I believe that does not correspond with what people are saying here.

Not sure about the 13-14 but the 11-12 cars with the SVTPP had no stripes on the ball, but the non SVTPP cars did.

According to all the magazine tests I have seen, the GT500 Mustangs were said to have stripes on the shifter ball. Funny how none mentioned the shifter ball stripe delete on the SVTPP GT500 Mustangs. It will be interesting to see if some SVTPP GT 500 Mustangs end up with stripes on the shifter ball.

The 2013/14 GT500's with the SVT Performance Package don't have stripes on the shifter ball and since you can't get the Track Package without the Performance Package, it comes with the same no stripe ball. The cars without SVT PP have the striped ball.

Thanks for the info. I wonder if Ford might run out of no stripe ***** at the end of production and might slip a ball with stripes on some of the last SVTPP produced GT 500 Mustangs . If that were to happen , I would love to hear about it.

I will let you know what mine comes in with on the 25th. Built 10/07/2013 DIB with White Stripes. I am expecting a no stripe ball.

Snoopy is correct. Regardless of LeMans stripes or not, all SVTPP Shelbys come without stripes on the shift ball. All non-SVTPP cars come with the stripes. That's the factory set-up.
