Aftermarket Tires

I have a 2010 GT500 and need new tires. I did a few quick searches and did not find anything. For those of you who have changed the tires on your GT500, did you keep stock, or what tires did you change to. What were the pros and cons you've seen in changing tires? I do not track this car, but it is my DD. Thanks

The best advice I can give you Sir, is to go to : www.tirerack.com
You can put in your exact tire sizes, see all the prices for each tire and best of all, read all the reviews and tests for each particular tire.
Great website.------Bill

This has been discussed to the n'th degree on team shelby site. Many options but the general consensus has been nitto or michelin pilot super sport.

I'm excited to see how the Goodyear F1 Supercar G2 tires will perform. If they're good enough, I'll replace them with the same thing when the time comes. I think they'll probably change some people's minds.

I went with Nitto Invo's Great tire, in rain or dry, good traction. Went bigger up front and out back.

When I had my 2010 GT500 I went with the Hankook V12. It hooked a lot better than the stock Goodyears.

I have those on mine. They hook up a little better than stock. I find cornering turn and transition in is slightly less responsive than the stock Goodyears. Great tire for the price.
