Aftermarket brake pads on your Brembos?

Hey all, just wondering how many of you 10-11 GT500 (and even 11 GT with Brembo brake package) owners have changed out their OEM brake pads for some aftermarket street pads (Hawk HPS, Axxis, etc.)

Looking for a street pad that's has similar or slightly better performance than the OEM pads on the Brembo brakes (and stock rears) that don't dust as much.

I've used Hawk HPS pads before and have been pretty happy with them.
They would squeal a bit occasionally, but then I'd clean them up and add a bit of the anti-squeal grease to the outside of the pads and that would cure it.

I was thinking of the Hawk Ceramics, but I heard they actually squeal quite a bit, contrary to what the website says.

Any recommendations?

Thanks

HPS for street use, been very happy with mine. Dust WAY less than the Brembo pads, or at least the dust color is not as dark (and therefore not as noticeable).

Yes actually i have also heard about the same some months ago and just talled my friend. He replies me with the same problem that was also faced by him. After then i have gone for the wagner and my friend gone for the Centric. Both of us enjoy great. So i also suggest you for either of both the brands

I've been using HPS on both cars, I'm happy with them on the street and have even gotten some light track use out of them on my 03.

Ceramics will have a little less bite than the HPS but also a little less dust. The HPS is not really that dusty though. I personally prefer the HPS pads.

The question would be whether the pads other than the Brembos are superior or inferior with regards to performance.

I like the HPS for street use. Even better when mated to a slotted rotor. I have a review here: https://themustangsource.com/f800/br...review-501150/

The stock Ferodo compound pads with the Brembos are fantastic. I'd classify them as a street and light-track pad (whereas the HPS is street only). They wear quickly, dust like mad, and chew the hell out of the rotors, though, which is why I like a pad like HPS on the street.
