Look at the top of the sheet for the word BLEND, directly above it will be a number. This number contains the scheduled build date.

Example: 120121017
2012 10 17 = Oct 17, 2012

Awesome, thanks. I found there is also a number at the bottom below item # which is also consistent with a date, although just a few off. One might be a VIN assignment and one might be a build date?!!

I'm wondering because the longer the dealer has the vehicle, the more property taxes they've paid or paying, the more eager they may be in bargaining to sell the vehicle. One they just received may be less willing to bargain?!!

Thanks for the help!

If I'm looking at a window sticker online, I can't necessarily open the door to look at the build date!

Yeah, just trying to do it right this time and do some research instead of driving around to 20 different dealers to get the same run around.

He does not.

He's looking at window stickers online through the dealers inventory at ford.com.

This way he can see how long the dealer has had them sitting going by build date.

Pay attention Joe.

I'll try harder. I guess I should have read it first. Is there a reason he just didn't order one?

Probably got the bug to buy one when it was too late.

Or maybe he didn't want to wait a year like me. ****ing Ford!

I don't have one order, a few dealers within 200 miles have some in stock. A few are asking above MSRP so I'm not dealing with them. Others I'm looking at stickers for options and build date to have more knowledge and tools in hand in an attempt to negotiate.

Property taxes? What does that have to do with getting aa deal on a car?You are trying every angle! You think they will give you a better deal cause of that? I don't understand that. Property taxes are constant.

He may have been thinking about some type of Inventory Tax.

Yeah that was a reach.

I just figured when I was looking that a dealer who just got one might want to cash in on an ADM and try his luck while one thats had it a few months might be thinking ok it's time to get rid of it.

But at the same time I was hoping to find one that had one on the way and he could sell the car at MSRP and not have to pay for any floor plan expenses. He doesn't have it yet do maybe the greed hasn't set in.

Either way I didn't find ****. Just a bunch of ADMs even though some were very small I was not paying over sticker and contributing to the problem.

Question

So, have the dealers already been notified about the allocations of 2014 GT500s ?

I don't remember if Jeff or Brian knew by this time last year or not. They might know by now.
