Once you've looked at the local ones put in other zip codes for the surrounding areas and work in directions like north then south etc. You can put in the zip code of the town furthest from you in the first list and work your way out from there.
I found 14 within 3 hours from me. Most are in small small towns. Then start calling if they really want to sell.
I have an order in with no production date. So I've looked around my area but only one has the feature I'm really looking for and it's not a color I want.
Surely one of those 14 would sell me the car at MSRP.
But be careful. I had a line on one 30 minutes from me and had a deal on the phone with the salesman. Drove over there only to have the assbag owner say no he needed $4k over.

Yeah, did that already, that's how I found the DIB. That's where I also found the MSRP which is why I was shocked to have them require more than the website. They had there speech about specialty, supply and demand, etc... I understand they need to make money, but I don't need to get raped in the process. My brother in law used to work at a local dealer and he said the owner will pocket at least 10 grand on the deal either way.

It's all BS, I purchased mine under sticker, not much under, but still. Search the web and make some calls, sooner or later you will find a dealer. If you want a '14 I can certainly send you to the dealer I bought from.

Hey Mike, don't listen to anything the dealer tells you. If they want OVER MSRP, walk away!! Plain and simple. I sell all my GT500s at MSRP only!! Nothing over, and I'm all sold out for 2013 and my guaranteed allocation for 2014 is also sold. That said, I got 2 allocations in 2012 & 2013 so I should get one for 2014. I'm not close by, but I guarantee MSRP. Others here can attest to me. Just ask Eric (Kaboodle). I'm a straight shooter. If you want something close to home, just keep calling around. Look for the small dealer (like myself). They will be glad to take MSRP. Any questions on the process, let me know. I'm always here to answer questions.

Thanks for advice guys. Everybody wants the newest, bada$$ car out there. I may wait to find a gently used well taken care of one and save some money. Jeff, if I find a new one that a dealer is willing to work with, I'll PM you for specific advice.
Thanks again

When I was looking I had no issues finding several for MSRP, luckily my local dealer had an allocation already in queue and was able to change the order to what I wanted. I've also seen a couple up for sell already. Just got to be patient and possibly willing to travel.

Just to let you know I'm here in central Texas too and if your talking to the ford dealership here in Killeen they aren't allocated one because hey didn't get some paperwork in or something in time. That's out of the owners mouth on a recreational function not car related. He did say he would try to buy one from another dealer to make a deal on one but he said most dealerships won't do a trade so he'll have to buy it then sell it to the customer. Bottom line with them sounds like what he pays plus some is what the customer will pay. Just FYI since I know your around here

Based on three previous SNAFU's at that local dealer, I'll never do business with them again. Thanks for the input though.
