Does anyone have any pictures of the new seats released from Ford?
I have seen all the information possible on the Boss, but no news on the GT500 and it will be on the dealership lots very soon. I already know one dealership that is tracking the first GT500 inbound to their location.

If the Recaros are made of fabric then the back seat is probably the same.

 

I'd like to know how it got out of quality control with one of the side stripes missing.

 

It smells like fish. I seriously doubt Ford missed the boat on that car. The missing red stripe might actually be a red flag.

One possibility or probability is it was damaged after delivery. Knowing how picky a person is when spending $50K plus, a dealer is not likely to admit it specially if the repair is of high quality and on black paint which is an easy match.

A good polish on the entire car and one has to be an expert to detect any body work.

Look at the story on the '04 MystiChrome Cobra link below. It looks perfect, the story and the car. The contradiction is the black plastic chin panel on its front fascia. It look like it is scratched from one side to the other. To me that is a red flag.

I would normally think the same thing (I'm a big skeptic, especially when it comes to cars) but in this case I feel a little different because of who it is. It's Michael Morris that's on Team Shelby, he seems to be very well respected. He's sold 22 Shelby GT-Hs, 25 SGTs, 37 GT500s (including 4 Super Snakes and 2 KR's), a Terlingua, and has already sold 17 GT350s, all from that little dealership that's in the middle of nowhere Ga. And trust me when I say its in the middle of nowhere, I've been there. He also owned the first 725 HP SS and now a GT350.

I think if he was trying to pull a fast one, he would have replaced the stripe before listing it and never even mentioned it.

Wow... I feel wrong for saying this, but I'm not a fan. I am now happy I got an '11 with the regular seats

 

I'm glad I did too, I don't like them as well as I thought I would. Something just seems off about them to me. Plus I would have wanted power anyway.

 

I've seen them and in my opinion they look out of place with the rear seat.

 

Me likey. Now I just need to find a pair of black ones with white stripes and replace my current ones.
