2011 GT500 with SVT Package Sneak Peek
I love the Performance Package wheels...I wish the rears were a little wider to at least 10.5" but I always liked the purposeful motorsport look wheel. Very similar to the wheels you see on the Boss R.

If you want the .flv file, send me a PM with an email address that can handle a 5.23mb file. You'll need a Flash Video player to watch it.
wow well im kinda disappointed on the wheels, and wtf on the stripes. i like the idea of GT500's with the performance package not having over the top stripes and just side stripes better than having those wimpy looking stripes.
I like the regular GT500 better. Not digging the skinny stripes. And while the wheels look OK, they'd look a lot better with a little bit of an outer lip to them at least. Looks like they were going for an HRE kind of look, but failed IMHO.
If I had an 2011 ordered with the SVT pack, I would be changing it right now. I like the fat stripes, I like the standard rim. The 2011 SVT Pack. rim is just an 8 spoke version of the 2007-9 GT500 rim. No offense the to the 2007-9 owners, but that 5 spoke rim I never liked. The 8 spoke isn't any better.

Even in motion, the rims look darker than I thought they would (based on the order guide), but still lighter than the standard rims. and the stripes gotta go... I'm scared to see the red stripe on the Gray car....

I was hoping for a change in stripes, but not that......I was thinking that a SuperSnake or Mach1 style stripe would set the 2011 apart and look great.
Prefer the stock 2010 wheels over the SVT pack wheels.
If we are lucky....those pics are a chop and a guess.....not very impressive IMO.

2011 Shelby GT500 - 550 horsepower
I just received my Winter 2010 My Ford magazine, and found the below article,
"[Regarding the 2011 Mustangs] Beneath the muscular lines of the power-dome hood introduced last year, the 2011 Mustang will have an all-new 3.7-liter Ti-VCT V-6 engine and one of two available 6-speed transmissions. While the eninge it replaces had a larger volume displacement (4.0 liters), the new one delivers better performance and efficiency: 305 horsepower, 280 foot-pounds of torque and projected 30 hwy mpg -- industry best for a V-6. Drivers looking for more power will appreciate the all-new 5.0-liter Ti-VCT V-8 engine, with a 6-speed transmission and 412 horsepower. It marks the fitting return of the 5.0 badge. And fans of Ford's top pony get a bonus too, in the form of a new aluminum-block 5.4-liter SC V-8 for the GT500, which delivers a whopping 550 horsepower. All this rides on the foundation of retuned shocks from the 2010 model, boosting performance across the board. There are new wheel options available as well. Inside, the available SYNC infotainment hub highlights the flowing center stack. There's no cutting corners here -- not that we would presume to tell you how to drive."

Also not feeling it, for the same reasons.
