Mexican 2012 Mustang ST.
Designed to bring a more performance minded Mustang without having to pay up for a GT500, Ford of Mexico brings the Mustang ST to their stables.
Suspension-wise, the ST contains many parts from the Shelby GT500 and shares brakes with the Mustang GT. It uses the same engine as its regular v6 brethren, the 3.7L with 305 hp. Only a 6-speed manual transmission is offered but shorter gears boosts acceleration by 22%.
Exterior
Only two colors are offered, red and black. However it wears chromed horizontal bars on its grill with a tribar pony, different rear bumper, a faux hood scoop, white side decals with "ST", and "exclusive" 19 in wheels.
Interior
Same as a regular v6 mustang with cloth seats.
Price:
Starting at $411,800 pesos or $29,904 US Dollars
What are your thoughts on this car. Should the US market get something similar?

MexiCAN! Better suspension, better brakes, shorter gears, and a different rear bumper...sounds like a good time to me! I think I've got a few pesos layin' around somewhere. Where can we see this "different" rear bumper?

Because SOME people will choose a V6 with PP package so they can have their goodies than take a base 5.0 without the goodies.... Yes, that really happens....sad but true. but to each his own and I won't judge them for it. i just know I have had this exact conversation with people and they have chosen the V6 with tech goodies over base 5.0

I think its kinda cool since it can talk into microphones!! I'm sure Cnet would like it since it has some tech goodies
I bought my V6 for GT money well because 6k in insurance a year was way more and still is more than I was willing or could afford to pay
