Paint 3-5x $$$ of Other Colors?

So I was interested in this hood lift kit. It comes prepainted to match factory colors. However, Brilliant Silver was not an option. When I asked the seller if it would be available, he said Brilliant Silver cost 3-5x as much money as any other factory color?! Opinions?

The color doesn't cost any more compared to a different color Mustang. He's not doing anyone any favors by trying to get this much for the kit painted, as he won't get it. If his excuse is that its a new color, and he has to buy it in bulk? That is a bad argument. Wish I had a better answer for you.
