Ok guys, tell me what you think of these wheels please...

I'm thinking about getting them in 20"...what do you think?

 

I like em. I like the 20" wheel but I worry too much about pot holes.

 

I think they should be ok as long as I am careul. I try to avoid as many potholes as possible anyway. My dad's Infinity had 19's and he had no problems in Tulsa and he had a lower profile tire than what I would be getting. I just want something to fill up the wheel well and those look muscular on our cars.

 

I wonder how the ride quality differs with such a low profile tire?

 

It's probably stiffer. I'll probably have to put in different shocks and struts to overcome the ride change. Do I have to change my tune to offset the tire diameter?

 

No. The tire will be essentially the same height as the stock just a lower aspect ratio. It always helps me to remember the way the sizing goes. For example a 255-55-15 is as follows 255 is the tread width measured in millimeters, 55 is 55% of the first number or the tire width and this is the sidewall height. And of course the last number is the rim diameter.

 

I'd avoid anthracite on the tungsten. But that's my personal opinion. I hate the mono-chrome wheel/car-color look.

I'll be doing a 20", and it'll be either chrome or polished, or something similar. But it won't be anthracite. Too close to car color.

 

I'm still working on my carbon fiber 22'' wheel lightweight and strong

 

It is a classic design but I'm kind of sick of them already. Just my opinion.

 

I like the look of the wheel. I'm terrible when it comes to picturing what it may look like on a car. Good Luck with the selection!!
