Someone was telling me that the NEW KB's are quiet but more efficient then the previous. If you want to hear the KB get an older version

For me the whipple and the vortech are making the most sense right now. I am still planning on waiting until 1. my factory warranty runs out and 2. the finances are there to do this without going into debt. My plan is to get the most cost effective unit that can be upgraded down the road.

The only thing I dont like about the Vortech that has me worried is the fact that I have to tap into the oil pan. I dont want any contaminents from the engine getting in there and messing things up. The Procharger doesnt look as good as the Vortech and places the filter above the headers, but on a good light it has a stand alone oil setup

They reconfiged the procharger. It doesn't sit by the header anymore.

I'm sure you could fab up a new air intake if it still sits on top of the maniflods. Which is about the dumbest thing I have ever seen. WHat were they smoking when they thought that was a good place for the air inlet?

I don't think so. That's the hottest part of the car and heat rises. I dont see how it could be effective?
