What Power adder do you want??
Just wanted to start a thread to see what everyone was leaning towards. If you have any real life experience with any poweradder we would love to hear what you have to say.
I myself Love all power adders~!!! Some are better in certain situations and others are not. I love the Power and reliability of a Twin screw, the control and power of a Turbo, and the price of the centrifugal!!!
What is everyone elses opinion?? Jeff you are welcome to bash the centris in this forum its neutral territory haha Oh yea pics and links to Power adders are welcome... I would love to have someone link me to a sweet deal!!

Personally, I've had a centri on a 4-valve, and it was awesome (completely awesome!) above 4K RPM. Below that, it didn't help the 4-valve's already hurtin-for torque curve.
I've now had a centri, and a GOOD positive-displacement design (twin screw - don't try to tell me you can make a roots a good design....not going to happen on a daily-driven Ford).
My next forced induction will be turbo, no question. And it will likely be the last type I ever use. As we all know, turbo's are, inherently, more efficient (even more so than the KB twin-screws, and that's saying something).

I'm not trying to bash centris. I think they are great too, just not what I want so please don't take offense Jarrod. Slow your roll man, slow your roll...:-)

Lately I have been considering the whipple. Basically the same price as the Vortech. It is upgradeable, and it looks nice. I can live with 5lbs of boost for a while then upgrade to the higher boost and intercooler later. It's a toss up. Could go either way. A lot depends on the pricing for each when the time comes to pull the trigger.

Don't worry. That 5 lbs of boost is still nice for us low boost guys!!!

I wonder how dangerous the car will be after I force feed it? I still want to run into the 12's with no power adder. I will have to wait until October to get some good air I suppose.

I'm still eyeing the KB... yhe only thing I don't like about it is that it's so quiet. When I went on the "Death Ride" with Jeff, you could not hear it. I wanna hear it!

I like the noise too.

I wanna hear what I spent all that money on. Plus I love the mechanical sound.

If money were no object I would buy a new bullitproof block and do a twin turbo. You would hear that!

Hell ya.
