You just want to be stroked... period.
Its ok David Its Ok
No more! please!
For our first mods, we've decided on getting a CAI and SCT. Which ones should we get and why?
Well that is a loaded question. Everyone has different CAI but we do all use the SCT tuner. I would suggest going thru a reputable dealer such as Brenspeed or Bamachips to obtain both the tuner and the CAI. I have the Racer kit from C&L with an SCT tuner and tunes from Brenspeed and couldn't be more happy. My car runs like a raped ape. Brenspeed has always done me right and with free shipping on ALL mustang parts you can't go wrong. Plus if you buy another item from them that requires a re-tune (such as CMCV deletes) the tune re-work is free. They e-mail you the files and you put them into your X-Cal and your ready to go. Some of the others are using Bamachips with similar results. Doug over at Bama is a bit harder to get ahold of because he is real busy traveling around doing custom tunes. Brent at Brenspeed is the man. www.brenspeed.com
Bob.... First off... great 1st mod choice. This still IMO is the best thing I've done to wake up my car.
David is right (for once) Brenspeed or Bama is what most of us use. my self and Jarrod run the JLTII CAI with the SCT tuner. The C&L Racer is good to. Can't go wrong with either.
Just google Brendspeed and BamaChips and start shopping!

Bob, like was stated above great first mod!! Both Brenspeed and Bamachips are great!! To save a little money look for the CAI AND SCT packaged together...I believe that takes a little off the price. You cant go wrong with either the JLTII or C&L Racer intake In my opinion. The C&L has more of a stock look and blends in nicely with the engine bay. The JLTII is a little cheaper is is made of different material you may or may not like.....the one thing I like is that you can customize the casing cover, BUT in your case your vehicle is black and that is how they come standard.
You cant go wrong BOB!! Good luck

So there is a guy on here selling his slightly used, FRPP delete plates for $100. I was planning on getting them but Is this something we can intall or no?!?
Yep can do Chris but you'll need new tunes for them.
That's what i read...Maybe it would just be best to wait to put them on until i get a new CAI as well. So then i can just get a new tune for both items.
Sounds like a plan.
Hey Ryan that CAI in your avatar looks pretty good!
Take off that bold font young man!!
