Can someone hand me a towel I need to clean off haha. Careful Jeff... your going to be running the kenne Bell supplied tune and not wait for a dyno tune?? I would say dyno tune then run it at the drags, but as you know its your car. Just some friendly advice I have heard the Kenne supplies a conservitive tune... I would just want to be on the safe side. Man I cant wait to see her run!!!

What about an ASSOMETER to register the fun factor from the rearend ?
#23
Assometer will be a good thing to try Friday!!!
Yes KBs tune is conservative. I want it this way for street and daily use. Kurtis is going to do a custom tune for me next week so I can run 93 octane for the drag strip. It will be slightly more aggressive so I can use it strictly for the strip. Safety is the main thing since the bottom end of the engine is not built yet...

Where are you going to find 93 octane? or are you going to do some mixing?
#25
I'll just do some mixing with 104 and 91 octanes...just for racing. After the race I will flash back to 91 tune...

Dave, don't hate me because I'm beautiful...:-)
#27
You sir are a swine! Your car on the other hand I will say is beauty in the making! LOL

Oink, oink....I just wanted to surprise everyone when it ran really fast...can you blame me...?

I guess not! But the cat is out of the bag now. Did you get the DR's mounted? Did they treat ya right?
#30
Yes the DRs are finally mounted. They treated me very right. Took all of 15 minutes and they only charged me 25. The reason it is lower is because I had a tire they had to take off of one of the rims and they kept the tire

I think we would have heard a slight whine coming from under the hood jeff

Yes the cat is out of the bag. I am very excited, I just hope they get it all done. The SC got finished today. Tomorrow they do the suspension pieces/DS/Shifter and friday they do the gauges. I had them do the shifter and suspension stuff since they had a lift and he is giving me a great price on the parts and install on the suspension. I figure do it all at once and save some time...
#33
So is the SC already in place or being installed on Fri?

The SC got finished today...
#36
Ahhh I see. Are you driving it right now or waiting on the finished product.
#37
Waiting on the finished product. I've been driving the speedy Toyota Corolla of the wife this week...
#38
You may have to run those DR's all the time. I don't think the stock pirelli crap will handle that extra power.

I work a half day on Fri. Off by noon or so Are you going to be at his shop then I would love to come check it out.
