I have the Pypes Off road X on mine and love it... I think it will sound fine with Violators. As for codes.. your most likely going to have them pop up. Its time to get a tuner from Brenspeed!! haha and a Cold Air Kit!! The rear o2 sensors will be turned off in the tune.....

thats probably because your car is orange J/k. I installed my x pipe and didn't have any codes pop up. When I butchered my mufflers up I didn't get any codes either. What code poped up on yours? I haven't seen any other members have codes come up when they did their swaps either. Not saying no one else has had problems ... I just haven't seen any.

Tony check out the sound files here.

http://www.brenspeed.com/info/soundfiles.html

Some people get a malfunction indicator light after removing the cats. So to cure it you need MIL eliminators or a tune that shuts off the O2 sensors like Jarrod said.

haha I have the ROush off-Road mufflers so it wont be even close to what you would be hearing. Basically my mufflers are tin cans with nothing in them... violators are actuall mufflers, so you might get a calmer sound out of them

I did the red 454 muffler mod

my sound clips stink. Also I nevere removed my cats and that is probably why I never got any codes. You don't have to remove your cats to add a x pipe unless you want to go that route

I just put a volators cat back on the 2k stang its kinda loud in the car but out side sounds pretty good. They are pretty much a straight through muffler. I might get a set for my car. I need to get struts and shocks for it first

i have the off road x and the pypes violators, they sound very good. in the tune they always turn the o2 off anyway. i think you can by some sort of MIL eliminator online if you don't want to do the tune.
