I gotta agree. We are seeing the end of the gas V8. At least in production. There will always be performance cars. However within the next decade or so, they will look a lot different. It's evolution at it's finest. Or worst... The gas V8 muscle car will become a toy, a rarity if you will. Sought after by collectors and people of wealth.

Remember this phase: "I remember my Dad had a XXX XXXX V8. It was bad a$$. I wish he hadn't sold it.... Blah, blah.

 

But the electric if thats the way it goes will be more bad A**. Instant torque. Oklahoma (OU) has an electric indy car that runs 200 MPH plus it has 32 red tops onboard, its a bad boy, I got to drive it 4 years ago. But nothing will replace the sound of the mean V8
