An interesting day...David, Tony, Chris and I went to OKC today to meet some OKC Mustang club folks and of course Doug of Bama Tunes,

Watched Doug get the twin turbo running when many before Doug could not...Doug was impressive and the twin turbo was a little disappointing,

Finally got a dyno tune on my car, have promised my car that I will never abuse her again...... from inside the car when I get on it doesn't sound that bad, outside it sounds like everything is just going to blow ...even waxed, changed the oil and oil filter when I got home,

Oh, I think the readout said 525 horses and torque was 510, is that what you saw David ? Not bad for an automatic with only 6lbs of boost.

 

Yep indeed what I saw. I think the readout was actually 525.9 Peak HP and 512 peak torque. I had a good time going to OKC meeting Doug having lunch with Toby Keith and Doug (who knew they were old roomates) Also enjoyed the freebies that Doug gave out. Sorry more could not attend. Tony I will trade you my T-Shirt for your Hat.

 

No way,no how.You might trade doc out of the bama jacket,but since it matches his car, i doubt it.Since 2 of the okc boys didn't show up,i wanted him to check out the tune from kurtis.When i showed him the dyno sheet from kurtis,he said there's no way he could make it any better.

Haha...nope....still a pillar of admiration over there...they love me, whether they like it or not....Im like an STD...you may not see me, but Im always there

 

Most are rich, spoiled, and have never turned a wrench in their pampered lives over there. They believe the Roush status is above any and all other. Am I messing with their heads and enjoying it....yes....I just like to stir em up over there. They have beautiful cars that have great performance...I love Roush...but the drivers of those cars leave them to be desired sometimes

Bobs car was really whining good above 5000 revs

 

That sound does get a little addictive after a while, will drive it somewhere and crank it up just to hear that sound

Think that was what disappointed me about the turbos, no great sounds

 

I am jealous Bob.... I want a whine under my hood.....The only whineing I hear comes from me inside my car
