Pics as promised: '08 Candy Apple vs. '07 Redfire
Here is my 08 candy apple in front of a 07 redfire Roush 427R. Very overcast day. . . I'll get more this weekend in the direct sun.

They are kinda close... The DCARCM looks to be a tad darker overall, and maybe a little deeper? Hard to say with the pics.
But most of all, and *THE* reason I never liked Redfire, is that blue tint. Look at the front fenders just over the wheels... see it? Don't see it on the DCARCM. It just gets darker red as you go towards the back. Totally awesome.
And in the right light... Redfire turns purply hued. DCARCM will never do that.
*My* jury is in. Dark Candy Apple Red Clearcoat Metallic for the win!

Only the 'deeper' part is hard to tell, mind... The blue you definitely should be able to see. It's plain as night and day for me in those pics.
I've seen it in person... It's deeper, I'm tellin' you.

Hey, just kidding.
I don't see any blue tint in our Redfire. My wife and I love our Redfire Mustang. The availability of Redfire was one of the major reasons we bought her.
We also love the looks of the new Candy Apple Red Mustangs that we have seen in pictures. Can't wait until we see one in person.
Congrats to all of you new Candy Apple Red Mustang owners! You have excellent taste. You're going to love your new Mustangs!

Bidwell Mansion
Thanks Don. That's the Bidwell Mansion in the background located in Chico, California.
If you're ever passing through Chico, you might enjoy a tour of the Bidwell Mansion.
Bidwell Park is also in Chico. If you have ever seen the movie, "The Adventures of Robin Hood" with Errol Flynn and Olivia de Havilland, then you've seen some of Bidwell Park. It was filmed there in 1938.
