Just got back form the Oklahoma City International Auto Show. They had a Shelby GT500KR on display......Here are the pics. I also took some video.....click the Youtube link.....video isn't great, but oh well. This was a beautiful car. Black w/ flat black stripes......enjoy.

Nice Bullitt in the background, quite a visual contrast with the KR.

That is one real great looking car, I wish I could afford it.

 

I went on saturday. No too crowded. I was pretty disapointed in the show. No new camaro or challenger, I just wanted to see one in person for once. The KR looked mean as S*it. I love the hood/front bumper and brakes but I really feel like it looks somewhat awkward from a profile view. Maybe thats just me but the front bumper seems to not flow well with the side of the stang. Plus there were hand prints ALL OVER the car.

 

The OKC one is different from the one I saw at Barrett-Jackson. Notice the rear spoiler?

 

This thread indicates the KR uses the V6 rear spoiler as on the car I saw at B-J:

its got one heck of a stance.

 

I've seen pics of both Willie, and I think the one at Barrett-Jackson was the car made for Carroll, that is close to what the official KR will look like. I think the one at the OKC show is just a GT500 done up for the show circuit.
