Silver with Tungsten stripes. I saw this on an 05 I passed this morning.

Stripes were not overpowering, but easily visable. Beautiful combo!

 

I would like the Dark Highland Green, i love that color for mustangs, durning the day its green but at night its black, also add some metal flake to it to give it that shine like no other.

 

Black w/red stripes.

 

1) Windveil blue or vista blue with black stripes...

2) Screaming yellow with vapor silver stripes...

I think the color combo on the car at New York looked best, I'd love to see one in that color with the bright blue stripes, it really looks awesome...

 

Well said. Classic PW and Blue stripes makes her look more like old school.

If I were to have a second Shelby, the Eleanor Grey and Black Stripes. Third, would be the Candy Apple Red and no Striping. (Someone on here once photochopped a GT500 in the RedFire and it was beautiful!)

 

My first car was white and it was very hard to keep it clean. Black is always cool, but also hard to keep clean. Might I humbly suggest again,

Sorry to shout... I really hope Amy reads this thread, and I really hope they put Yellow back in the mix...

For those of you who are not aware, the 1968 GT500KR had a "Special Order Paint" run, and of those the majority were "Corporate Yellow" (or "Special-Order Yellow" as it is sometimes known", code WT6066. I am lucky enough to have one of those tucked away in my garage.

Ever since the annoncement of the new GT500, I have been dreaming of the day that I could pair up a new one with my original '68. I was disappointed when they killed yellow from the colour lineup (although I saw my first Grabber Orange today, and I'll admit it looked good), and that was one of the reasons I put off the purchase, holding out for a possible KR in '08.

Well, sure enough the announcement came, and I am starting to get excited! I am "first on the list" at the dealership where my '68 was purchased new. All I need, for all my (automotive) dreams to come true is the announcement that Ford/Shelby will do a 40th-Anniversary "Special-Order Yellow KR" in '08... Now that I see Amy Boylan say "Look for additional colors", I am excited all over again!

I'm sure the memberes of the exclusive WT6066 club would be more than happy to get together at Ford dealers nationwide, to publicise the Yellow '08 KR. Just give me the word...

 

Gents, Ladies, Brand spankin' new to this forum. Any help would really be appreciated.

Does anybody know where I can get 2007 GT500 Tungsten gray (paint code T-8) rocker stripes? Not a single ford dealership has them in the country. Or GT500 side stripe stencils?
