It's a nice hood but I see what G.T. is pointing out. The SS hood looks like it's meant to line up more with the regular GT noses vs. the GT500 like the KR is.

Hot ride though, glad to see the wheels are in production as well.

i still can't get over how upset i am over having my hopes put all the way up then coming down with this.

i'm sorry if i don't see it like some of you but i really don't like this hood.
it's nice.. certainly better than the stock GT500 hood.. just nowhere as nice as the KR hood.

i'd love to hear AmyB's take on this, and would still love to get my hands on a KR hood, even if it meant taking 2 years to build it myself from scratch! :\

Perhaps a special request may be in order> Ask Amy and see. In knowing your quest and the distance involved, there may be exceptions made.

The custom method may be in the best look and fit, although much more costly though.

did they really need to sew a cobra into the headrests when the same sape is already embossed to the seat 3 inches under it?

Just be thankful it is on the headrest and not on the bottom.

I'm with you. I think the KR, overall, is MUCH better looking than the SS. And the smoked headlamp and tail-lamp covers? No thanks. Looks like a cheap "kit car" afterthought.

And no warranty? That means Shelby have no faith whatsoever in its reliability. Caveat Emptor, folks. Though I guess for those who can afford it, they won't much care anyway. Wonder if Ford dealers will be able to service it properly, or deal with anything that might go wrong, even if it isn't under warranty?

And Louie, your Stang looks awesome just the way it is. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

There are things that are GREAT about the car i.e. Exterior w/out the blackouts and I would probably have the wheels painted glossy black instead of chrome and keep the GT500KR Hoop pins. As for the interior, not a big fan of the giant embroidered emblems....

I agree w/ you RKF about the warrenty. Or maybe I am just jealous....
