Knight Rider Contest Shows MSRP
I was reading through the rules for the contest to win a GT500KR on the NBC web site. It said that the MSRP was 79,995 for the KR. This was the first I has seen a price for the car. Thats a big jump from the 45,000 for the GT500. Then of course the the ADMs

The upgrade package price has been talked about in the mustang mags for sometime! $26,000 to $30,000 on top of the base GT500 cost, depending on if you want 600+HP version or the 725HP version with no warranty...... its only money....

I think you are talking about the Super Snake, Not the KR. The KR is just an intake and tune, and a different handling package...along with a few cosmetic differences. The Super Snake package is a different blower and lots of other goodies.

You're thinking of the Super Snake. The KR msrp was posted on Team Shelby a couple weeks ago.

Pretty much. Exclusivity, new wheels, hood, shifter, V6 spoiler, unique chin spoiler, I think it has carbon fiber mirror covers, and rocker panels, also has different exhaust. The exact same could be done to a GT500 for a lot cheaper, except the hood is KR specific. However, Trufiber has one now.
