Rollbar

We welded in plates and nuts and installed a 4 point rollbar that I bought from the surplus of SAAC parts many years ago. Here it is fitted and installed...we will remove it later and paint it to match the interior and then reinstall it when we reinstall the interior.

Looks good, why just 4 points though? Just style?

We used this bar for a couple of reasons...most importantly is because it fits the interior with minimal modifications and it doesn't get in the way. If necessary down the road it could be added to but I don't really forsee that need at this time. Many cars are built with a cage or rollbar that gets in the way for street driving, this car is being built with the interior comfort in mind...this particular rollbar was used in the Production SAAC Cars back in '92 so it is a very clean look.
