Smile UK Meet - Waddesdon Manor 2010

One of the biggest UK gatherings of Mustangs. Waddesdon Manor is home to generations of the Rothschild's family and is, quite frankly, stunning. Lord Rothschild wasn't in yesterday, so we were able to picnic on his front lawn

Not too many photos from me as my camera was playing up, but there are a few links to others too. Make sure you click on them and enjoy

He'll be please to hear you say that. It's an awesome Fox. Sadly there aren't too many Foxes in the UK, but that one is one of the best.

Cheers guys.

Cool! I need to find a castle around here, I think the nearest one to us is Disneyland.
Who wants to hang with these characters!

Hi Lawrence......good to see you over "this side"

Jed - we've got a few characters in our club that probably wouldn't look too out of place in the Magic Kingdom

Many of us in the UK only use our Mustangs as weekend playthings........even many of the S197s are used as "modern classics". Currently, about 69% of what we pay for fuel is tax

I have a ten year old BMW with 140,000 miles on the clock as my daily driver. Even that only does 28mpg and I cover almost 500 miles a week, so I'm putting about £100 worth of fuel in it every week just to get to work

Still, I love my Mustang and even if fuel was twice as expensive as it is now, I'd still play with it at the weekend. It's therapy

Here's another shot from one of our members on the day.
