I know it might be a little early, but I thought I would see if anyone one here is going to participate in the Hot Rod Power Tour next year. I would love to do it, and would appreciate any encouragement and/or advice for a first-timer!

Starts in Cocoa Beach Florida, June 4th and ends in Detroit, MI on June 11th. I think this would be an awesome trip and a great opportunity to meet a lot of wonderful people along the way.

I to am a first timer to the power tour. Trying to get off work and work out the details but I'm hoping to go.

 

i know it splits alabama again this year i`m just not sure where yet .. but if it`s within a couple hundred miles of me i`ll catch some of it ..

 

Its going to nashville tn after that. It ends in detroit this year.

 

i actually did a rare thing in 05 i think .. i drove three of my cars in the same leg .. i went up into tennessee with my stang and joined a group ..then hopped into my 351 pinto and ran almost into huntsville then switched into this V6 pinto and attempted to make it to birmingham but the torrential rain beat me back .. one thing i dont like about the tour .. it brings rain ..

 

Wow that is a full tour all on your own. Did you have friends following you in the other cars or did you stage them? The last two years I've gone to the good guys show in columbus its been a full on down pour. And snow tried to keep me from the detroit auto show this year. But I look at it as a filter. Only the true gear heads brave the bad weather.
