Wiring Harness Probelms?
So a couple of weeks ago I started noticing that my hazards lights have a mind of there own. Basically I would be driving down the street and they would just start blinking for no reason. So after I found the car dead because the battery had been drained, figuring it must be a short in the wires I took it to Ford. Turns out they forgot a condensation plate behind the main wiring harness for the car. So water had gotten into the main wiring harness and had shorted everything out.
To fix this they have to rip the whole dashboard out. Well after numerous calls, it has been 2 weeks and I still do not have my Mustang back. They keep telling me it will be done tomorrow. Only for me to call them to go pick it up and it is not fiunished.
Has anyone else had this problem??
By the way it is a 2007 GT

Never had that problem, but man you better be glad you still have a good warranty, those harness's are pretty expensive not to mention that if it is the main harness that is messed up, they have to take a lot more apart than the dash. The main harness runs from your engine compartment all the way back to the trunk and covers everything in between. I have ripped the dash off of my mustang before and it was a two day project even with the shop manual. I am sure none of these guys at the dealership have taken that much apart before so they are probably learning as they go along while checking their progress in the manual.
