Where is the Help

I have an 06 Mustang GT, that I bought in Dec 05 that in my eyes has constituted a lemon since the reoccuring problems started since May 06.

To this day I still have the rear end whine during left and right turns, as well as a whine when letting off the gas at about 70mph. Various other interior rattles that the dealer always says they fixed but seem to always come back.

Since May of 06 I have had 4 clutch kits, 3drive shafts and 2 pinion gear replacements. My grand total of replacement parts would probably be higher but with my work schedule and other factors I have not taken the car back to the dealer in a few months.

My Ford dealer can do nothing but keep replacing parts, which I am thankful for but at the same time is very inconvenient for a car that just turned 1 year old, and since my dealer and many in my area do not have loaner cars. It costs me money to use the on site rental services even when Ford gives me a $20 voucher.

I have complained to the Ford dealer, which said they would give me a free extended warranty, which in the end never happened.

I have written 2 emails to Ford Customer Service, which in both instances told me to call there customer service line to further explain my issues. After explaining my issues to them and telling them in the end I would like Ford to buy back my "lemon" and just get me a working mustang GT. They informed me they could not take any action because at the times I called them my mustang was in working condition since the calls were made each time after the dealer replaced parts.

Finally I thought I was getting somewhere when a SW Regional Ford Rep called me to talk to me about my problem. He again said to call him the next time I had the reoccuring issues. I called this rep when the issues arose again. After several voicemails and no returned calls I gave up the hope that this person was going to do anything for me.

I feel that now that Ford has my money they could care less about the issues I have with my car.

If there is anyone out there with any other ideas on how I can get someone within Ford to not only listen to me, but to acutally help I am all ears.

As far as the rear end whine, it's a simple fix that you can do yourself for about $8. Get some friction modifier from the dealer ($8), and put the small bottle in the rear end diff. Takes about 10 minutes and totally cured mine and many others problem.

The rattling dash I had the dealer install some small felt pads where the A-pillar meets the dash on the driver side. That cured 95% of the rattles right there and it took the dealer about 30 minutes to do.

In most states if the car is in for the same problem 3 times, and is not fixed it qualifies for lemon law. I'd do some research on the laws in your state and then find a lawyer.
