Wheel and Tire Protection question

Hello all! When I purchased my Pony in February I opted to get the $500 Wheel and Tire protection. I live in the country and it's not unusual to bust a tire or a crack a rim once every so often. Does anyone else have this? I was curious as to what sort of "damage" has to be done in order for Ford to replace a rim. All four of mine have horrible curb rash from the previous owner, I'm so OCD the imperfections bother me lol If it's lots of hassle I may just buy new rims. Thanks for any info! =)

just a guess, but highly doubt its a Ford program...probably a third party thing, like the warranties dealers like to sell.

I think a road hazard warranty would probably cover bent or broken wheels/tires but doubt cosmetics. My wifes (also a 07 vista blue V6) has curb rash on all 4 too, eventually I'll probably put my wheels on hers, or get a set from newtakeoff.com- think there 299 a set right now, price seems to vary every so often...
