Does anyone know? I want to start to changing it on my own. Is it syntetic or regular?

I would assume the dealership uses Motorcraft brand and the type and viscosity specified for the engine. If you are going to do it yourself, the Motorcraft filters and oil are available at most retail stores. Like anything else, there are many opinions on brand and frequency. Personally, i use OEM recommended brands on my newer vehicles and change oil at the OEM frequencies. My classic cars get the cheap stuff and annual changes as they are for show only.

I used the OEM Motorcraft 5W-20 Synthetic Blend for 3 oil changes (at 4,000 mile intervals, as I only drive my car 8,500 miles per year), and now have gone full synthetic. Had Mobil 1 in the car, but now went to Amsoil!

Any particular reason why one would want to know what the dealership uses?

Mobil1 oil & Motorcraft filters for me.
