Strut TSB/Recall?
My insurance company notified me today that there's a growing problem with the stock struts on the GT's. Something about the swaybar mount seperating from the strut body. The message said there wasn't an official recall yet, but anyone that has a problem is supposed to call Roush.
Just throwing that out there incase this issue starts popping up.

It was a Roush/Eibach problem. (09-06-06)
Roush uses Eibach struts in their cars. Eibach had a problem with eary units. Since Roush is a manufacturer they had to do a recall on Roush Mustangs.
Nothing to do with the Ford Mustang GT.

CERTAIN AFTERMARKET ROUSH BRANDED FRONT STRUTS AS A STAND ALONE COMPONENT, PART NO. 401297, AND ROUSH BRANDED FRONT STRUTS AS A SUSPENSION KIT, PART NO. 401296, SOLD FOR USE ON 2005 AND 2006 FORD MUSTANG GT VEHICLES. THE FRONT ANTI ROLL BAR ATTACHMENT BRACKET ON THE FRONT STRUT CAN SEPARATE FROM THE STRUT HOUSING DUE TO INCONSISTENT WELDING. THIS COULD RESULT IN A CLUNKING NOISE AND OR POOR HANDLING IN EXTREME OR EMERGENCY MANEUVERS.
