I have a 2005 Mustang V6 with the slandered CD player in it. I have noticed lately that even a little bit a bass my passenger rear speaker makes a loud rattle.

Before I stick my head back there and look for it with a hand of folded paper. Any of you fine Mustangs have this issue as well? Where I should begin looking?

I have the Shaker 500 and have noticed my passenger speaker tends to rattle on occasion.

If it is the speaker itself, it could be loose, or even have something lying on the cone. Remove the grill and look. It is also possible that there is a dead spot on the voice coil of that driver. That would mean the speaker is for all intents and purposes, blown- it just happens to still work at low volumes. I suggest you start by looking at the driver itself- check for holes/rips/etc, look for loose screws, and tighten EVERY screw that you can find inside the car. I swear, some of mine were barely threaded into their respective homes.

I think they pop off, but I haven't gotten into it yet. I want to get all of my equipment before I start.
