Well it seems that as soon as I paid off my 2006, I have had many problems... Now my shaker 1000 cds are stuck and wont play, it just suddenly said "disc error" and defies any attempt to fix it....sigh. Any ideas appreciated!

 

Last time we had one do that we just had to pull it apart till we got them out. Time to upgrade to an ipod

 

Mine did this once, I disconnected the battery and it started working. May have been pure luck, but it's worth a try. The early Shaker 1000s had alot of problems with the head units, may be a good excuse to get a DVD player!!!

 

Yup, it happens. There's really not anything you can do about it. You can try disconnecting the battery for a little bit and see if that'll get it going. Mine's done it a few times...The first time, I had to get a new head unit. The few times since then, it randomly decides to start spitting out CD's a day or 2 later after I start up the car.

 

Well I "fixed" it by disconnecting the battery...all is working for now, but **** the small electrical problems all over are nuts!
