Shaker 1000 Audio Trouble

Hello guys,

Hopefully someone has a helpful hint for this problem.

I have a 2005 Mustang with the 1000 watt Shaker, and have had the main head unit replaced once for the CD player going bad. This past summer, I had a MP3 player connection installed in the car and it has worked great.

Now, recently, I have experienced audio trouble. A song will come on with full bass/volume, and then slowly the bass will all but disappear and the volume will turn way down. This happens at all volume levels and all bass levels as well, and I have made sure the "speed volume" setting is off, and the Shaker setting is on.

This problem happens with all sources, my MP3 player, CDs, and radio, I am stumped, and I am thinking maybe a loose wire somewhere? But usually, a song will always start loud with bass and then it will fade ... and a new song will come on and the same scenario happens, so it is a little odd ...

Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks,

Dan
