bad belt/tensioner, harmonic balancer failures on v6s can cause the pulley to hop off, belt runs off the hub...I'd check that belt ASAP, if it breaks you lose not just the power steering/charging, but the water pump too...can burn up the engine in short order...if belt breaks all the fault lights will pop up, no choice but muscle it off the road and shutoff immediately, call a tow.
please check that belt before going anywhere

look at post #7 in this thread:
https://themustangsource.com/f637/07...squeal-489517/

thats the balancer failure a few have suffered, the balancer/pulley/vibration damper/whatever you night prefer to call it, is bottom/front of the engine. look also for the 'tensioner' pulley being at a weird angle relative the belt, when a bearing in a idler/tensioner goes bad, the pulley often kinda rocks, making the belt tight on one side of the pulley/loose on the other...heres a diagram from a quick search:

crappy weather in California??? spent most of the day out in the cold, helping a buddy get his plow ready, last night it was a hour trudging thru the snow looking for our runaway dog- found her hiding under neighbors tree all covered in iceballs... c'mon, Cali cant be that bad

we were in ChulaVista Christmas of 69 (mighta been '70-I was just a kid), it actually snowed down there a couple days before Christmas, folks were freaking out. My brother and i were out in teeshirts having a snowball fight- still was 'warm' compared to Ohio's winters
