motorcraft battery - need some help

I'm in need of a new battery but I don't know much about battery specs.

On motorcraft's site the are about 6 different batteries for the 2005+ GT. My GT has a lot of electronic equipment (audio amps, aftermarket alarm etc.) Which one would be the best battery to get? Thanks for your help.

I believe they come with the BXT batteries. The ones with the active alarm get the 40 series batteries, and the others get the 96 series. The 40 series battery is a more stout battery, so I would go with that one for your needs.

I also lost my stock battery several weeks ago and after much debate on what to put back in the car I decided to go with the stock battery again because it was only $100 bucks here in the states and it fit the thermal blanket and battery tray correctly. I am not sure where you are located that is an option. And yes the stock battery is a BXT 40 series battery.

Buy an Optima yellow top. They seem to be the racers choice. Mine died on Saturday after 2 weeks of sitting.
