Hood Lift At High Speed

Maybe ford should look at the cobra hood to be stock on the 2006 models. This would fix the problem. The air would diffuse through the hood vents creating less lift.

ORRRRR maybe you could have your existing hood cut and made like the cobra. It doesn't seem that it would be tough to do..

I was on a trip to San Francisco and had a chance to take mine up to 135 twice, in a deserted industrial area, middle of the night. The hood was rock solid, didn't even quiver. But on my way back to L.A., about two hours later, I hit some strong winds along the coast at around 85-90 and the hood was all over the place.
I don't know if I'll go with the pins or not, but I am going to install something positive to secure the hood.
