high speed hood flutter

It will cause it to stick up past the fender, you have to adjust the stops a few turns and check to see if it's even.

I've looked at numerous 07 Mustangs on dealer's lots and I haven't seen one that had perfect hood to front fender alignment match in height. They all looked like they needed to be raised some on one side. You'd think they would take a little more care in assembling the cars.

Again, it's unconscionable that Ford hasn't engineered in a fix for this yet - instead of just allowing these cars to go out on the road with this problem. No wonder the company is dying.

All it would take is a hood with some Bullitt-style vents to release the build-up of air pressure.

That would cost an extra $1 per car and possibly save millions due to a potential lawsuit... why in the heck would they want to do that?

Not to mention, they might actually turn around and make a little more money when insurance companies have to buy the vents after the cars are in collisions w/ hood damage.

Definately not woth it.
