front brake rotor part number?

I see two different Motorcraft part numbers for the front brake rotors on a 2005 GT:

BRRF42
BRR139

Does anyone know what the difference is, or which one is the stock rotor? The prices are a bit different too.

Best I can tell, the one you probably want is "BRRF-42". Which should also be the cheaper one. The real part number is: 4R3Z-1125-BA.

I'm guessing the "Retail Spec" probably just has a little extra hardware with it that isn't completely necessary.

In either case, why not just get this: http://www.newtakeoff.com/mustang_gt...2009_pair.aspx

rockauto.com has the BRRF42 for $50 each.

What are "take off" parts? Aftermarket copies of the Motorcraft parts?

On another thread, I saw a discussion about Power Stop drilled and slotted rotors that sell for about $100/pair. Sounded good to me, but a lot of members here were saying to stay away from that "Chinese junk". No one really gave a reason why to stay away, however, other than that they were apparently made in China.

Take offs are factory parts taken off by companies like Saleen, Roush, etc.

I'm not familiar with power stop. I know a lot of people use power slot...
