Fog Light Haze

I never really noticed this when both fog lights on my '07 were the same...but last month I hit some sort of animal in the road and had to take it to the body shop. Nothing major, but they had to replace the grille and one fog light & one headlight. They used oem parts. Now, when I look at both fog lights they seem to look ok during the day but when they're on, there is an obvious difference. The original one appears to have a foggy or haze over the lens which I can't clean, and the new one looks bright and crystal clear. Has anyone else had this? Should I report this to the dealer and expect them to replace the original one? Or are they going to tell me its normal? The car is only 2 years old!

As for the headlights, well, there is a slight film on the original lens plus some little pits but I think that should be normal? The fog light lens is much worse than the headlight. I probably wouldn't mention the headlight but i dont want to sound dumb going in for this fog light.

Other people have had this problem.
Some have had them replaced.
Some have had the replacements fog up.
I installed Hella driving lights instead.
It seemed like a bright idea.
